MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft and U.S. ExxonMobil have signed contracts on exploration of oil fieldû with the government of Mozambique, Reuters news agency reported late on Monday.
“The agreements could lead to as much as $700 million of investment in Mozambique as the energy firms are expected to drill a minimum of 10 wells, eight in deep water and two onshore,” Reuters said quoting Mozambique’s National Petroleum Institute, an energy regulator in the southern African country.
